Description
LED STRIP has increased luminous efficacy and high-power SMDs have allowed LED strip lights to be used in applications such as high brightness task lighting, fluorescent and fluorescent, and halogen lighting fixture replacements, indirect lighting applications and even growing plants.

There are different types of strip lighting, this includes water resistance, color adhesives, choice of SMD, and driving voltage. In addition, there also strip lighting consists of constant current or constant voltage layout.
Uncoated LED tape is not considered to have water resistance and they are rated as IP20 with some physical ingress resistance. These tapes are generally low in voltage and safe for skin to touch but can be shorted by fine metal objects.
Water-resistance strip lighting is covered in a heat conducting silicone or epoxy to protect the circuitry from direct contact with water and is rated as IP65.
Both coated and uncoated LED tapes have a two-sided adhesive backing to stick to walls, desks, or doors.

When cutting LED strip light, it is very important to cut only on the given cut line between the copper dots. Cutting any other places apart from the copper dots will result in no electrical conductivity to the following section. In addition, it is important to use a pair of sharp scissors to cut the LED strip light as to avoid damaging the LED strip. |
Application
- Accent Lighting
- Backlighting
- Task Lighting
- Decorative Lighting
